Location: This plant grows best in a spot with bright, indirect sunlight. Indoors, the Alocasia Regal Shield is best placed in a bright location, but out of direct sunlight. Outdoors, the plant can enjoy a shady spot, although too much direct sunlight can damage the leaves.
Water requirements: The Alocasia Regal Shield needs regular watering to keep the soil evenly moist. Make sure the top layer of soil dries out slightly between waterings. Avoid waterlogging by ensuring the pot can drain well. In winter, the water requirement may be slightly reduced.
