Appearance of the plant: The Pachira Aquatica, also called money tree, has a thick, braided trunk that splits at the top into several long, thin branches with hand-shaped, glossy green leaves. The leaves are usually bright green and can grow up to 30 cm long. This plant is known for its graceful and exotic appearance.
Location: The Pachira Aquatica thrives best in a bright spot with indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves. This plant is suitable for indoors, preferably in a room with sufficient daylight.
Water requirements: The Pachira needs moderate water. Allow the potting soil to dry out between waterings and only water the plant when the top layer of soil feels dry. In the summer, the plant needs a little more water, about once a week.
